New Balance FuelCell SuperComp Trainer v2 The New Balance FuelCell SuperComp Trainer v2 is an imported running shoe with a rubber sole and carbon fiber outer material. It features a lace-up closure and a 47mm midsole height. The shoe also has a breathable, flat knit upper with a lock-in fit feeling and an ‘N’ logo design that wraps around to the lateral side of the shoe.

This running shoe is designed with Energy Arc, which pairs sport-specific carbon fiber plate geometry with strategic midsole voids to increase stored energy and deliver a higher amount of total energy returned. The FuelCell foam in the shoe delivers a propulsive feel to help drive you forward.

New Balance brings the race day feeling of energy-return technology to a high mileage training shoe with the new FuelCell SuperComp Trainer v2. It is designed to look, feel, and perform differently from other running shoes. In this execution of new Energy Arc technology, an arched carbon fiber plate is sandwiched between two layers of FuelCell cushioning, leaving a hollow channel through the middle of the shoe. The plate is flattened into the void with each foot strike and returns energy as it reshapes, creating a high rebound sense of propulsion.
